Our first product, Octopus, is the first icon-based watch that teaches kids good habits and the concept of time.

We did a Kickstarter campaign ($777,000) and are now on Indiegogo ($960,000).

JOY has been selected by HAX, the world’s largest hardware accelerator and by Hardware Club.

We are also part of the selection that will represent the French tech at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas.

iOS ENGINEER

Location: Annecy (France) with trips to San Francisco (USA)

RESPONSIBILITIES

_Work with UI/UX design team to create memorable user experiences

_Co-create the architecture of the app

_Write simple, efficient, and self-documenting code

_Practice test-driven development

_Work on all aspects of the app, from front-end UI to back-end APIs

REQUIREMENTS

_Be self-motivated and a quick learner

_Have an excellent attitude for interpersonal relationships and multicultural environments

_Have developed and shipped a complex app yourself or as a part of a team where you have played a significant part in designing architecture, as well as hands-on coding

_Be an expert in Swift and Xcode

_Be comfortable developing SDKs and using third-party SDKs

_Be highly skilled in implementing iOS interfaces and fully proficient in best practices in iOS development

_Be completely up-to-date with the policies and procedures of the Apple Store and have gone through the process of publishing apps yourself

_Previous experience with the Bluetooth protocol is a plus

ANDROID ENGINEER

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Location: Annecy (France) with trips to San Francisco (USA)

RESPONSIBILITIES

_Answer to questions, requests from end-users by email

_Act as a subject matter expert for a given set of products, including hardware, software, firmware, and other products & services

_Work directly with product and partner teams to influence and support development of new and existing products, services, and experiences from the perspective of the customer

_Independently provide guidance to product owners, marketing teams, and executives regarding how customers will react and how the business will be impacted by the design of a given product or feature

_Work with Field Testing team to understand user feedback in order to anticipate customer questions and concerns

_Maintain documentation of current and emerging issues for customer support agents, including handling process and proper troubleshooting, and communicate updates about the resolution of these issues to customer support agents via the proper channels

_Develop internal resources and customer-facing messaging to support product launches, changes to the product, and emerging issues

REQUIREMENTS

_Your english is good

_Advanced knowledge of project management software, especially Agile boards and creating/filtering tickets

_Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests

_Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and quickly absorb and interpret new information, products, and features from the perspective of the customer

_Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence

_Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality

_High personal productivity with demonstrated follow-up ability

_Personal interest in consumer electronics, kids, and education
